~ RETURNS: Shippable Items Only

~ CONTACT US FIRST:
If you would like to return a product, you must call 323.665.7097 or email orders [AT] sew-la-fabric [DOT] com for a return authorization number. We do not accept any returns without prior authorization. You will not receive a replacement or a credit unless you contact us first, regardless of any other circumstances.
~ FABRIC:
Fabric cuts of one yard or more may be returned to Sew L.A. within 14 days of the original order shipping date for store credit or a refund of the original price (excluding the original shipping for that item and less a 15% restocking fee). Returns must be authorized by us - we do not accept or process returns without prior authorization.
Returns must be in the original state: brand-new, uncut, unwashed, free of pet hair, dirt, cigarette smoke, perfume odors etc... please inspect items carefully before returning them. Once inspected by us, we’ll issue the store credit or refund within 7 business days of receiving the product. Refunds will be credited to the form of payment used for the original purchase. Returns received after the 14 day period will be subject to a 50% restocking fee.
~ SEWING TOOLS & SUPPLIES:
Damaged or defective products will be exchanged for a replacement of the same item only or store credit if the item is no longer available. Replacement shipping will be waived for defective orders or, in cases of an item no longer being available, refunded as store credit. If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact the warehouse for a return authorization number. No replacements will be shipped out without prior authorization.
~ ERRORS:
If your order is missing or contains an incorrect item(s), please call or email us within 3 business days of receiving your order at 323.665.7097 or orders [AT] sew-la-fabric [DOT] com. We will supply you with a return authorization number and pay for the return shipping in addition to sending out the item in question immediately. Shipping charges for replacement item(s) will be waived one time only.
~ SHIPPING CHARGES:
Any and all shipping fees are non-refundable for any/all item(s), with the exceptions being damaged items having been shipped or the wrong product was shipped as a result of an error on our part. In these instances, the shipping charge for a replacement item will be waived one time only.
Please pack items suitably to prevent damage in transit. If returning items via the U.S. Postal service we recommend you obtain a certificate of posting, as we cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. Please include your name, address, order reference number, and the return authorization number provided by us on the return label.
~ CANCELLATIONS:
If you need to cancel an order you must notify us within one hour of placing your order. It takes us a bit to receive and process your order, so if you change your mind odds are we can cancel your order at no charge to you if we are informed in time. When in doubt, contact us! Cancellations requested after one hour may be subject to a 20% restocking fee at our sole discretion. To cancel an order, please contact us ASAP via email at orders [AT] sew-la-fabric [DOT] com, or call us at 323.665.7097. No orders may be canceled once the product has shipped.
